At Dunwoody we often need to exchange large files with clients. Email attachments are insufficient and trying to explain the intricacies of FTP to a client can be tricky!

As a solution to this problem, I wrote a web application using Ruby on Rails to which project managers can upload files. Clients are then provided with a username and password in order to access their files. They can also upload files for the projects managers to collect.

I wrote all of the application code myself but a comp of how the general layout should look was provided by a designer. The application is deployed with Mongrel.
